The care of Bonsai lies deeply on the importance of watering. Many environmental factors, such as humidity, lighting, air movement and temperature will affect the speed at which moisture evaporates from the soil. Other factors, such as the season,the health of the tree,and the tree to pot size ratio will also affect the frequency of watering required. Thus,one must check the soil to know when to water rather than follow a fixed schedule. Test the soil mositure with your fingertips.Alternatively,you can lift the pot as it will feel lighter when dried and heavier when well watered. If the Bonsai is dry,water immediately. If the soil is moist,water before it dries out. Do not water yet if the soil is till damp.

Junipers are one of the most common Bonsai. They like bright but indirect light and good air circulation. A good place would be on a covered patio or deck. If indoors, place by an open east window where there is plenty of light. Junipers may be kept indoors all year round in a cool location, but will thrive best outdoors. Picking a good spot for growing Hydrangeas will make a huge difference in their growth. An area with bright morning sun and afternoon shade, like east-facing will be the best for good, healthy growth.

Hydrangeas come in various colors, mostly in blue, purple and pink, and a healthy bush can produce hundreds of blooms. Be sure not to plant them under a big tree, as shade is not their friend.

Tree roots are aggressive and are drawn to rich soil, therefore it will interfere with your Hydrangea and matting it weak. Plant it in well-drained soil, and never over-water your plant, as it will lead to root rot. Because the plant can grow to a very generous size, be sure to leave enough room for it to grow, and the best time of the year for planting is early summer or late fall. So if you do not have any planted in your garden yet, you can still make it for fall.

Hydrangeas can provide a very nice colorful garden throughout the hot summer months, as the blooms coming up slowly and stay for a long time, not like the Azaleas or Rhodo where the blooms are not that long-lasting. The trick to growing healthy plants always involve good fertilizing. Organice fertilizers proves to be worth the money, and a mixture of organic and chemical fertilizers will give good results too. Apply fertilizers once a year is all that is needed. 10-10-10 is normally sufficient and would be better if it is applied twice a year during the summer. Do not apply fertilizers after August or September as it is the time hydrangeas begins for dormancy. Ideally, cut back the plant quite a bit, as it will grow another foot of so before it will start blooming again the following year.
